Booking Terms and Conditions
This is to be read in conjunction with the ‘Letting Information’.
- Cottages at 'Domaine de Leygue' are offered for holiday rentals subject to confirmation by
Graham or Elli Dixon to our guests.
- If the full payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to give notice
that the reservation is cancelled. Guests will remain liable to pay the balance of the holiday fee
unless we are able to re-let the property. In this event, Clause 5 will apply. Bookings made within
ten weeks of the start of the holiday require full payment at the time of booking.
- Any chargeable expenses arising during the holiday period (e.g. telephone calls, faxes) should
be settled before departure, in Euros.
- A damage deposit of £100.00 is required in case of, for example, damage to the property or its
contents. However, the sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the guest's liability to us.
We will deduct any appropriate charges from the damage deposit and refund the balance due
within two weeks after the end of the holiday.
- Subject to clauses 2 and 3, in the event of cancellation, refunds of amounts paid will be made if
we are able to re-let the property, and any expenses or losses incurred in doing so, will be
deducted from the refundable amount.
- A maximum of two adult people are allowed to reside in any of the cottages. No pets or children
are allowed.
- Guests agree to be considerate tenants, to take good care of a cottage and to leave it in a
clean and tidy condition at the end of the holiday period. Guests agree not to act in any way that
would cause disturbance to the other residents at Domaine de Leygue.
- We shall not be liable to our guests for:
- Any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the
property, nor in respect of any equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in the
property, garden or swimming pools
- Any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot,
war, strikes or other matters beyond our control
- Any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by a guest or guests if
the property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the
rental period and, in any such event, we shall within fourteen days of notification
to our guests, refund all sums previously paid in respect of the holiday period.
- Under no circumstances shall our liability to our guests exceed the amount paid to us for the
holiday period.
This contract shall be governed by English law in every particular including formation and interpretation
and shall be deemed to have been made in England. Any proceedings arising out of or in connection
with this contract may be brought in any court of competent jurisdiction in England.
