Once a small farm, Domaine de Leygue (pronounced ‘Laig’) has been transformed into a unique collection of four 1-bedroom cottages, two miles from the nearby town of Lalinde on the Dordogne River.
The setting is over four acres of level, landscaped grounds amidst tranquil, beautiful countryside. Because of our high position there are marvellous uninterrupted views across the adjoining valley, fields and woods that abound with wildlife including wild boar and a variety of deer.
Driving through an avenue of maple trees you draw into the courtyard, with its mellow stone barn to the north and owners house to the south.
Beyond the courtyard, The Cottage and The Tower can be found set beside a bordered lawn which leads down to the ‘Garden’ pool with its panoramic views.
To the west of The Tower, a grove of old walnut trees provides a natural break in the landscape before moving further west to the more recently-built Gatehouse and Field House cottages which look southwards towards the ‘Field’ pool and views beyond.
An abundance of flowering shrubs around all the cottages complements the natural hues of the stonework.
There are two parking areas, with a separate driveway for leaving the property.
Our aim is to ensure that you have comfortable and well-equipped surroundings to make your holiday as peaceful, enjoyable and memorable as possible. This is why many guests return time and time again to sample the ‘Domaine de Leygue experience’.

All cottages have hairdryers provided to help reduce luggage plus wi-fi access to broadband internet.
